Against concealed employment
To fight against concealed employment, Articles L 8222-1 et seq. of the Labour Code require that the ordering party ensure, upon signing a contract related to the provision of services to the amount of €3,000 incl. tax or more, whether client or service provider, that the co-contracting party comply with regulations in terms of registration (French RCS registry of trade and commerce, employment repertoire, professional order, administrative authorisation), and in terms of social and fiscal declarations.  Failure to do so may result in the ordering party being considered complicit in the offences committed by the service provider, and thus being required to contribute to payment of any ensuing fines. Under the law dated 13 August 2004, these checks must be renewed every six months until the end of the contract (Amended article L 8222-1 of the Labour Code). Decree n° 2005-1334 dated 27 October 2005 specifies the scope of the ordering party’s obligations, with the provision in its entirety being enshrined in Articles R 8222-1 et seq. of the Labour Code.

In accordance with these provisions, Verspieren has made documents pertaining to its compliance with these obligations available online. They can be downloaded and will be updated in line with legal requirements.

In application of Article L 156-1 of the Consumer Code, the Insurance Ombudsman is competent to intervene in any dispute that cannot be resolved as a result of a previous complaint directly sent to your insurance broker’s department. Appeals can be submitted to the Ombudsman by:
